She is a filmmaker from Tampa, Florida.
Kennedy Brabham is an award-winning screenwriter and filmmaker whose work has been recognized by the USC Feminist Media Festival, Network ISA Emerging Screenwriters Thriller Screenplay Competition, Chicago Script Awards, and more. She is currently pursuing a Film and Television Production & Writing for Screen and Television BFA at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts.
From early childhood, Kennedy did a number of activities, from piano to ballet, until she discovered her love for filmmaking at six years old. Since then, Kennedy has taken Masterclasses and attended numerous intensive programs to delve deeper into her passion and begin to chart a path into the film industry.
Kennedy’s ultimate goal as a screenwriter and filmmaker is to create narratives that are authentic, compelling, and challenge the status quo. She wishes to create stories that introduce her audience to unique perspectives and experiences traditionally overlooked or misunderstood in media. Whether this takes form in the E-Learning projects she has worked on as a Junior ISD intern, at intensive programs, or in her own work, Kennedy strives to put her best foot forward in telling a unique truth with her storytelling.

Kennedy's Experience

Kennedy offers a unique blend of precision and creativity, drawing from her professional background as a Development Intern at Feigco Entertainment (the production company of 2x Emmy-nominee writer-director-producer Paul Feig), Get Lifted Film Co. (the production company of EGOT-Awardee John Legend), and JuVee Productions (the production company of EGOT-Awardee Viola Davis), and her role as Junior Instructional Designer at EDesign Consulting. In these roles, she has written coverage for over 60 screenplays and novels, written scripts for 20+ e-learning courses, and provided creative insights for 40+ ongoing projects, including several upcoming workplace comedies, dramas, and a heart-warming biopic about the late comedian Bernie Mac.
Further, as a competitive screenwriter, Kennedy has placed in over sixteen national screenwriting competitions, including the USC Feminist Media Festival, the Your Script Produced Screenwriting Competition (UTA-repped), the Network ISA Emerging Screenwriters Thriller Screenplay Competition, and more. She has been selected as a Television Academy Writing for Drama and Development Finalist, and ranked three times on the Coverfly Red List for Best Thriller. As a digital content producer, Kennedy has produced 40+ impactful short-form videos for companies like Microsoft, Sephora, Uber Eats, Clinique, CapCut, and more.
Kennedy is currently interested in opportunities in development, writing, and production, aiming to deepen her storytelling skill set and gain hands-on experience in the evolving film and television industry.
